I’ve never been to the Sahara Desert, but I’ve read enough stories about explorers to know that it is a VERY hot place!
One thing that all of those explorers needed as they made their exhausting treks across the scorching sand was water.
Water is essential for life, something that humans cannot go without for more than a few days. In much the same way that we need water, we need God.
We need His love, we need His grace, we need His peace. I love the reminder in this song that God is our oasis, even when our lives sometimes feel like a desert!
